Going to Twain's in Decatur around 6:30 for Keith Winkler's birthday.

Dad's Garage is featuring its first big political discussion (http://www.dadsgarage.com). The most-excellent Sonia Tetlow will be one of the speakers, as will some leading politicos from all over the spectrum. I'm sorry to say that they also have one of the more boring 99X djs there (and you thought they were all deadly dull). But, other than that, it should be a lot of fun. Gonna hit Dad's around 8 pm

The Atlanta Greens meet at Java Monkey in Decatur at 8 pm. Apparently two local Greens just became officers for the national party, so we're gonna hear from them.

Damn! Two great shows this night. Salome's Wish, Myssouri, and other good local Goth bands play the Masquerade for the Atlantis conference, while Hot August Knights plays Mumbo Jumbo's 6th anniversary party. And there's gonna be great food at both! Hard to imagine good food at the Masquerade, but Jaysin and the Secret Room have figured out some way to do it.
