So, a mile from my house there's this Tucker bar designed to look like a barn. When I first moved to Tucker, it was an empty, bedraggled redneck bar. For a while it was a Hispanic bar. Then, a month ago, a rainbow flag went up.
Finally made my way in there tonight. The owner told me that since they put up the flag, 500 Tucker gays have stopped in. Impressive. They were doing Karaoke, and it was primarily lesbians - decent crowd for a Tuesday. The owner said that on the weekend it is packed, 50-50 lesbians and gays.
Anyway, it was a nice bar, my bourbon and coke was $3.75, and the owner says they would like for it to be a late-night place on Sundays. Whatdyall feel about a late-night Tucker gay bar that looks like a barn - and on Sundays is a piano bar until 9:30?
Gonna have to see about it being a good afterparty place for Whippersnappers ...
