Back in Atlanta and relaxing

Kittymel's goat parasite ambushed me while we were in Virginia Beach, but seems to have gone away, courtesy of me putting far worse things into my body than it :-) Some upcoming plans:

Weds, Aug. 2: Fiona Apple. Yeah, not my normal thing, but a friend is playing keyboards for her and it will be good to catch up

Thurs, Aug. 3: Mythic Journeys leadership meeting

Fri, Aug. 4: Kittymel gets back in town late. Going out is doubtful

Sat, Aug. 5: Frolicon meeting during day. Invisible College at night. Parties after that

Sun, Aug. 6: Whippersnappers munch, 2 pm at the Highlander

Mon, Aug. 7: Non-profit organizing meeting

Tues, Aug. 8: Primary run-off - time to vote again. Also, that night I present on "Story and Game Design" at the Georiga Game Developers Association. Anybody can attend; admission is $5. It will be held at DeVry's Alpharetta campus, and since this is the first time they have hosted one of these, I'm hoping for some good catering :-)

Another Sunday event

Following the Whippersnappers munch and such, I might head to this. Anyone else think they might go?

There's a screening at the Five Spot on Sunday at 6pm of a sci-fi film that The Church (the band) did the soundtrack for. Tor Books and other publishers are involved w/ the screening. The event takes place before The Church show at the Variety that night.
