Jan. 31st, 2008 11:20 pmAIA is putting on a series of lectures in February regarding fantastic beasts and monsters. These are free and open to the public, and I have agreed to present:
“Loving the Monster: What Makes Our Nightmares Compelling”
It starts with a reception at 11 am in the AIA gallery, followed by my presentation at noon. Mainly focuses on what elements from myth, psychology and art make monsters resonate with us, focusing on monsters from games, art, movies and myth.
