Testaments of the Heart
Sep. 8th, 2010 07:34 amSounds like Dragoncon was a good convention for many people, and for once I'm glad to jump on the bandwagon. Sales were good at the HDI booth, got to hang with some wonderful people I don't get to see enough, and got to seduce two more wonderful people into the Geek Galleria that is Dcon.
The next event with which I am involved, even before SIEGE, is Testaments of the Heart at Emory's Schwartz Center, Sept. 28 at 8 pm. This is a concert of music written by Holocaust victims while they were in the concentration camps. It is a truly interesting mix of music written by very talented people who would be well known today had they lived. Instead this is the first performance ever of many of these works. This is being put on by the Mythic Imagination Institute and the Emory Center for Ethics, and thanks to some generous donors, the concert is free.
