hdiandrewSo, apparently some white supremacist loons have been threatening an immigrants march in Chamblee scheduled for Monday evening, Sept. 29. The march organizers have put out a call for more marshalls and contacted me. So, who wants to go have fun with some pinheaded Klan-wannabes?
Marshals are needed for the Sept. 29 "March for
Dignity," organized principally by the Latino community, demanding basic respect and
dignity, and specifically driver's licenses for undocumented workers, who contribute billions of dollars to the U.S. economy both in labor and taxes annually, but now find themselves unable to drive to work in the state of Georgia.
MARSHALS SIMPLY NEED TO BE AT THE MARCH SITE AT 4P.M., THE DAY OF THE MARCH (SEPT. 29). Meet at La Mision Catolica, next to the Doraville MARTA station on New Peachtree Rd., at 4p.m. on Sept. 29. Marshals will be briefed and provided with necessary information and
material logistics at this time.
