WoW/Blizzard helps bust drug war fugitive

Big change from the days when Blizzard dedicated Warcraft to California's proposition legalizing medical marijuana. No, they were not at all required to release their user's account information to the government, but they did so anyway.

They are a big time corporation now with an image to protect - I am sure that some corporate moron somewhere was involved in the decision.

wow.. that is utterly terrifying. I thought for a minute that maybe the guy was trying to distribute through wow, at which point I would understand a kid-heavy game might go along with the cops, but just because he played it? -shiver-
